This is a preparatory program designed to provide general education coursework for students planning to transfer into a Medical Assistant program at another institution. Our pre-allied health programs offer unique opportunities for students to begin their studies at GC, enjoying low-tuition rates, strong instruction, and faculty who believe in students and their potential to succeed.
A degree is not issued from Garrett College; students must apply to their transfer institution for acceptance into their program. Completion of a non-degree transfer program does not guarantee acceptance into any program. Contact your transfer institution for additional information.

This non-degree transfer program provides students interested in a health care profession an academic foundation that that prepares them for transfer into a specialized health program at a variety of 2- and 4-year institutions.
